Day 1 begins with your arrival and transfer to Arusha, where you’ll meet your guide, complete trek briefings, and rest in preparation for the climb ahead.

Day 2 kicks off at Momella Gate, where your trek starts through rich rainforest alive with wildlife such as monkeys, antelope, and tropical birds. You’ll ascend to Miriakamba Hut (2,514m), your base for the night.

Day 3 takes you from Miriakamba Hut through the heather and moorland zone, offering open vistas and a cooler climate. You’ll reach Saddle Hut (3,570m), nestled below Little Meru, with the option of a short acclimatization hike to its summit for spectacular views.

Day 4 is summit day. Setting off before dawn, you’ll trek along a narrow ridge to Socialist Peak (4,562m), with stunning views of the crater and distant Mount Kilimanjaro. After celebrating your summit, descend back to Miriakamba Hut for overnight rest.

Day 5 features a gentle descent through the forest to Momella Gate, where your vehicle will be waiting for the return to Arusha. This marks the end of your incredible Mount Meru adventure.
