On our Basic Camping Safaris, you’ll stay at public campsites located within the national parks or at private sites just outside the park boundaries. A professional safari chef will accompany you throughout the journey, ensuring your comfort and well-being. These campsites are unfenced, so it’s not uncommon to see giraffes, buffalos, or elephants wandering through the area—or to come across antelopes on your way to the shower.

Drifting off to the sounds of owls or waking up to the roar of a lion is all part of the immersive experience. Being right in the heart of the wilderness makes the adventure even more powerful. While it may lack the luxury of a lodge, the closeness to nature—especially the vibrant sounds of the night—makes for a truly unforgettable safari. Please note: bathroom facilities are communal and shared with other campers.
