Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Your journey begins with a warm welcome at Kilimanjaro International Airport. You’ll be transferred to Arusha, where you can relax and acclimate to the region’s atmosphere. Enjoy a leisurely evening before a delicious dinner and an overnight stay at Charming Eco Homes, located near Kilimanjaro Airport. This eco-friendly lodge offers half-board accommodation, giving you a chance to unwind after your international flight.
Day 2: Arusha to Serengeti National Park
On this day, you’ll drive to the heart of the Serengeti National Park. En route, enjoy a game drive and spot the region’s incredible wildlife. Stop for a Maasai village visit to learn about their culture and traditions. The Serengeti is renowned for its abundant big cats, elephants, and other wildlife. After an exciting day of game viewing, you’ll overnight at the luxurious Into Wild Signature Serengeti Camp, staying in a standard tented camp with full-board services.
Days 3 & 4: Full Days in Serengeti National Park
Enjoy a full day of game drives in the Serengeti. The park is one of the best places in the world for wildlife viewing, especially during the Great Migration (seasonal). Whether you’re tracking the migratory herds of wildebeests and zebras or observing predators like lions and cheetahs, every moment is full of excitement. After a full day of game viewing, you’ll return to your camp for a relaxing overnight stay.
Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, depart from Serengeti National Park and enjoy a scenic drive to Ngorongoro. This journey offers stunning views of the Tanzanian landscape, including vast savannahs and rolling hills. Upon arrival, check in at lodge afterward, enjoy some leisure time or explore the town. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be at Eileen’s Trees Country Inn, a charming and comfortable lodge, where you’ll stay on a full-board basis.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Exploration
Today, you’ll head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to one of the most unique and biodiverse ecosystems in the world. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a massive volcanic caldera teeming with wildlife. Spend the entire day exploring the crater, spotting lions, elephants, buffalo, and perhaps even the rare black rhino. You’ll stop for a picnic lunch at a scenic spot inside the crater, surrounded by stunning views. After a day of game viewing, head back to Eileen’s Trees Country Inn for another peaceful overnight stay with full-board services
Day 7: Drive to Arusha via Mto wa Mbu Village Visit
On the final day, enjoy a leisurely breakfast before departing for Arusha. En route, you’ll visit Mto wa Mbu Village, a lively and vibrant community where you can learn about local life, traditions, and crafts. You’ll have the opportunity to explore the village and interact with locals before continuing your journey back to Arusha. Upon arrival, the tour ends with your drop-off at your hotel or the airport, depending on your departure plans.
