Community Empowerment at Serengeti Simba Lodge

Serengeti Simba Lodge actively supports the surrounding Ikoma community. The lodge provides employment opportunities and contributes a portion of bed night fees to the local village council. These funds help support vital community development projects and initiatives.

Luxurious Tented Accommodation

The lodge features fifteen uniquely designed tents that combine romance with security. Each tent uses canvas for charm, but rests on solid stone foundations with thatched roofs. Guests enjoy attached concrete baths, outdoor showers, and private decks overlooking the plains.

Accommodation Options: Five twin tents and ten queen tents are available. Triples can also be arranged.

Activities and Wildlife

Guests can enjoy game drives, guided walks, and photography opportunities directly from the lodge. Wildlife such as lions, elephants, giraffes, and zebras often roam near the property, making every moment magical.

Accommodation options

Every en-suite tent and room has a magnificent view of the Serengeti; most enjoy a view of either sunrise or sunset. All rooms are beautifully and simply decorated with local fabrics and hard wood furniture; the beds all have mosquito nets. Full amenities are provided and rooms are solar powered with solar heatedwater; there isa power strip for battery charging that’s live when the lodge generator is on (approximately 6 hours per day). There’s also a 24-hourcharging station at reception.

The common area of the lodge houses reception, lounge, bar, dining room, viewing deck, pool with sun deck and the campfire area.There is free wireless Internet in the inside common areas.On arrival you’ll be welcomed to reception with a refreshing towel and cool glass of juice.
