The lodge is located in the center of the conservation area and it gives guests great opportunity to reach to the famous Olduvai gorge where the remains of the old man was discovered by Dr Leakey, they visit the museum and other nearby sites before they return back the lodge for their dinner

Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge sits on the eastern side of the Ngorongoro Crater. Its position on the highest point of the rim gives guests wide and clear views across the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. In addition, the road leading to the lodge stays smooth throughout the year, so guests can drive without worrying about bumps or slippery sections.
The lodge’s high altitude brings cool temperatures, especially at night. To keep guests warm, the team places hot water bottles in the beds. The main lodge area has a circular African-inspired design, which feels both warm and unique. Windows sit at different heights to offer breathtaking views of the crater from many angles.

The lodge has a large swimming pool and many extra activities for children hence making it fit for families with children.
