Day Trekking to Mt. Meru

Your adventure begins early in the morning, typically around 7:00 AM, when you’re picked up from your hotel with a packed lunch and transferred to Arusha National Park. Upon arrival at Momella Gate, we’ll handle the registration process and meet up with an armed ranger before driving to the trailhead at Kitoto View Point.

From there, enjoy a 4-hour trek through the lush Afromontane forest, with an exciting excursion into the crater before returning to the vehicle. After the hike, you’ll have time to relax, take in the breathtaking views, and reflect on the morning’s journey. This scenic hike on the slopes of Mount Meru offers an unforgettable nature experience, topped off with a picnic at Kitoto View Point.

In the afternoon, you can either head back to your hotel or extend the experience with a leisurely drive through Arusha National Park—at no extra charge. Later in the day, our driver will be waiting to transfer you back to your accommodation or to the airport, depending on your schedule.
